Science (Biology) Teacher

• Permanent Full-Time position  

• Commencing Term 1, 2027 (or Term 4 2026 by negotiation) 

Ravenswood is a Uniting Church K-12 day and boarding school for girls located on Sydney’s North Shore. Ravenswood offers both the HSC and the IB Diploma Programme as well as the PYP in the Junior School. We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Science Teacher to join our dedicated team in a permanent capacity from Term 1, 2027. Demonstrated experience in teaching IB Biology is essential. 

To be successful in securing this position, you will be an excellent and engaging classroom practitioner, with an ability to differentiate the curriculum. Your teaching will be characterised by creativity, rigour and the use of technology to enhance learning. We seek a teacher who has a flexible, collegial approach and enjoys working in a committed and professional team. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: 

• Experience teaching Year 7-10 Science 

• Experience teaching IB Biology 

• Experience teaching HSC Biology(desirable)  

• Confidence integrating ICT effectively into classroom practice 

• Skill in differentiating curriculum delivery to meet diverse student needs 

• A flexible, collegial, and collaborative approach
